The .G. Wedding

Well I did it, my first wedding as the solo head photographer! Whew, I must say that when I got home I was wiped out. Weddings are fast paced, high intensity, big ol' emotional events and being the person in charge of capturing the day in the way that encapsules all of the significance of such an important turning point in someones life felt a bit overwhelming! I am so grateful to the newlyweds for giving me the opportunity and priviledge of being head memory capturerer :0) I hope these images help you to remember how beautiful, romantic and intimate your special day was for years and years to come! Congrats!!

The .K. Family

So the K's and the D's are best buds. So when I realized I had them booked back to back I thought "Uh Oh... my creativity better be 'a flowin" because I really didn't want them to have family photos that mirrored each other. Luckily for me, the settings were super different and the families each have their own unique rhythms that made these two shoots completely different without even trying!I love the K family. Taryn is one of my biggest encourager's and she had our shoot so amped up in my mind that I couldn't help but be a bit nervous ;0)I love ya' to death Taryn and I so hope these images meet all of your expectations and more!

Little mister Trey is always my tricky one :0) He did great tonight!

I figure this next one will look great on Mr. Kirk's desk!

And finally Taryn, here is my attempt to get a more light hearted look on Pete's face!
Thanks for the fun! AND SPECIAL THANKS TO SHAWNA FOR LOANING US HER GORGEOUS YARD!!

The .D. Squad

Yep, it's the return of the D Squad and yep, they brought just as much energy to this shoot as last year! These people have got to be up near the top of my very favorite families to photograph. They are absolutely hilarious! As we finished up shooting and were walking to our cars Steve, a.k.a dad, said "Ya' know, we didn't even bring our "A" game" to which I replied "What on Earth could be the "A" game if this is just "B" " and Steve said "Our "A" game is Gabe with a red bull"! HA! That one had me chuckling all the way home!! I hope you guys had just as much fun as I did;
